Join us for a waterfront potluck in Shelburne 7/24

5:00PM - 8:00PM Sun 24 Jul 2016

Shelburne potluck supper will be hosted by Joyce Errecart ’72 on Sunday, July 24 at 5 p.m. at her home on Lake Champlain.  Please call Joyce at 985-2329 or email her at to RSVP, and to tell her what type of dish you’re bringing (or should we just hope that all we have are desserts?).

Directions to Joyce’s house:

From the intersection of Route 7 and Interstate 189, go south on Route 7 (Shelburne Road) for about 5 miles.  With Kinney Drugs on your left and Automaster on your right, turn right on Bay Road.  Bay Road ends at a stop sign at Shelburne Farms.  Turn right on Harbor Road.  Follow Harbor Road for 1.25 miles.  Turn right into the driveway adjacent to a mailbox marked “2854”.  The house is at the bottom of the hill.

From the south, go north on Route 7.  After passing Shelburne Museum on your left, turn left at the traffic light, with a gas station on your left and Shelburne Country Store on your right.  Follow Harbor Road for 2.854 miles, and turn right into the driveway adjacent to a mailbox marked “2854”.

Northfield BBQ and hike 8/6

10:00AM - 3:00PM Sat 6 Aug 2016

Lisa's home is in the heart of Northfield and she has invited club members to come for a walk or trail run on Paine Mountain and stay for a potluck barbque. This will start start and finish right from her house. The hike is about 4 miles and will take an hour at an easy pace. Although it is a climb, it is suitable for hearty kids as well.
For those who opt for a faster pace, a trail run will be led by Lisa's husband.  It will take an hour and difficulty and pace will depend on the group's interest.
Both will be on easily marked, Norwich maintained trails with some great views and sights.
If you just want to come for the potluck at noon, that's fine, too! Plan on bringing an appetizer, side dish or dessert to share.
Please RSVP to and indicate your preference for what dish to bring. All ages and family members welcome to join!
