Last minute opp for Seven Sisters/Siblings event & reminder to RSVP for hike

Vermont Wellesley Club

Dear [first_name],

Friends! It's hard to make plans with the weather patterns being what they are... but I hope you will consider attending one of our upcoming events.  I just heard from the Alumnae Association and the Vermont Smith Club that we have been invited to join them for a BBQ mixer at Bluebird Barbeque in Burlington THIS SUNDAY! Here's what I know:

Join us for a fun summer celebration with fellow VT-based Smith alums, and current students too! We've booked a room at Bluebird Barbeque and will have savory appetizers available. Tickets are $10, or $5 for recent alums and current students. Seven Sisters/Siblings alums are welcome as well. We hope to see you there!

Time: Sunday 7/16 3:00-5:00

Host: Andrea Rosen

Location: Bluebird Barbeuqe - 317 Riverside Ave, Burlington

RSVP online by clicking here - cost is $10 (or $5 for young alums/current students)

If Alums are interested in this kind of thing, I want to know! We can coordinate more.  Really open to your input and ideas on what events and opportunities would be fun for the club.  Shoot me a note to share your thoughts, if you're so inclined. (anniecraw@gmail.com)
And don't forget: our club's hiking date with Sheri and Elizabeth is also coming right up on 7/22.
Sheri Larsen '70 and Elizabeth Bassett '72 will lead a hike up Mt. Abraham via the Long Trail from Lincoln Gap in Lincoln.  The hike is 5.2 miles round trip and has an elevation gain of almost 1600 feet.  We plan to start the hike at 10 amDue to limited parking, we will try to organize carpools.  Please RSVP to Sheri Larsen at larsen007@aol.com.
Warmly,
Annie Crawford '00
