Vermont Wellesley Club Event: Burlington Potluck 7/12

Vermont Wellesley Club

Dear [first_name],

Happy July! We optimistically hope the summer weather arrives this month in advance of our 7/12 potluck in Burlington! Here are some details:

Wellesley Gathering and Potluck Dinner at 5PM until 8PM, Sunday, July 12. Please RSVP with a sense about what kind of dish you will bring by replying to this email or contacting Annie Crawford at 802-324-7970 or

The gathering will be on the deck and lawn at the home of Susan Rittenhouse (Wellesley'66). In the event of rain we will have to postpone; those who have RSVPed will be notified in advance of any change in plans.

Directions to the Village At Northshore, 76 Northshore Drive Burlington:

Drive North on North Ave, Burlington, past the Ethan Allen Shopping Center, Northgate, and a bus shelter, all on the left. Next on your left you will see a street sign, "Westward Drive". Turn left there, and proceed past mailboxes on your right, while bearing left. You are now on Northshore Drive, although there isn't a sign to that effect. The second or third right will take you to #76. Please, however, park along the Drive ("Visitors Parking"), as the parking in front of condos is for residents. Walk around to the back (lakeside) to a large deck, where there will be a table set up for food. Please bring food and drink to share. Susan will provide plates and cups. Susan’s phone (in case you're lost, even after these incredible directions) is 862-6679. Fingers crossed for good weather so that we can enjoy the view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks, as well as the company of fellow alumnae.

Save the date for future summer events:

  • Wellesley Club Hike in Fayston - 8/9/15
  • Potluck and sendoff for students in Shelburne -  8/18

Details for these events will be sent later in July.

Hope you can join us for one of these summer events. As always, if you'd like to schedule something in your own neck of the woods, let me know!

Warm regards,

Annie Crawford
